Supreme Court appointed 3rd judge to hear the MLA disqualification case

Supreme Court on Wednesday refused to hear the case regarding the suspension of 18 ADMK MLA’s by the Speaker. On June 14th Madras High Court has given a split verdict forcing the case to be allocated to the third Judge. After that disqualified MLA’s decided to move the SC regarding the same.

When the case came for hearing today, SC pulled up the disqualified MLA’s for making casual and irresponsible statements about the delay in delivering the Judgment. While Apex court has appointed Justice M Sathyanarayana to hear the case it refused to prescribe a time frame to hear the case. It has said, it won’t go by any news spreading through Social media and said the case will be heard on June 27 as per the listing.
