Situation in Kerala continues to be worrying
Indian Meteorological Department has issued a fresh warning for southern states Kerala, Karnataka and Tamilnadu. In the report issued yesterday it has said, the fresh westerly wind will intensify the monsoons in these states over next 48 hours. Due to low pressure area in the Bay of Bengal, northern states like Uttarkhand and Himachal Pradesh also will get heavy rainfall in next 24 hours, the report added.
Kerala has already seen the wrath of nature with heavy flooding and landslides in many places. The situation continues to be worrying even though there are lots of organizations like NDRF, Army and RSS has already working in full swing to help those affected. So far around 40 persons have died and 20,000 houses have been damaged. After taking the aerial view of the affected areas, Home minister has said, the center will provide all the assistance to Kerala to tackle the situation and they will release the funds immediately to Kerala
